These are the stated goals for English 4B. We call them "learning outcomes." These are skills that you should master during the semester.

1. Compose critical thinking questions about the text for personal reflection and/or class discussion and summaries about the text

2. Use vocabulary strategies (context clues, word parts) to determine meaning in intermediate fiction and/or nonfiction academic texts
